Plugging the dongle back in without any drivers and then Windows just pulled some new drivers for it out of thin air and suddenly everything works normally. Then I tried what you suggested here - going into the Device Manager, deleting every single Bluetooth Driver and device under the Bluetooth dropdown there. I tried re-installing the crap driver from the CD as well as the website. Everything was broken and crashing and it couldn't connect properly to any of my Bluetooth headphones. I had installed the driver than came with it on the CD (dated 2016, the same one as on the Asus support website) and it was absolutely non-functional in Windows 10. I was just about to return this piece of crap before stumbling onto your post. Should I have missed any possible fixes, which I probably have, feel free to comment them, and I will make sure to add them to the post.
